Situated in the Quakers Friars quarter of the Cabot Circus development in the heart of Bristol, the Second Floor Restaurant & Bar occupies the top floor Harvey Nichols. Open for all day dining from 10am, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
The striking modern interior, created by French architect and designer Christian Biecher, creates a warm atmosphere with its soft and shimmery gold textured walls, luminous leather banquettes and rich, caramel brown leather chairs.
It is a fantastic space to showcase the talents of Second Floor Restaurant's Head Chef Louise McCrimmon.
Louise's style is based on classic techniques, pure flavours, great textures and indulgent ingredients. She enjoys working with new and seasonal produce and her frequently changing menus reflect this passion.
Starters include: Beetroot cured salmon, cucumber, fennel and dill salad, lime dressing; Brixham mussels, cider and crème fraîche and Salt and pepper squid, crisp pork belly, bok choi salad, sweet chilli dressing.
Main courses include: Roast breast of free range chicken, broad bean and goats cheese fritter, white bean dressing; Grilled Cornish plaice, braised baby gem, buttered cucumber, sauce vierge and Roast pork loin chop, sweet potato hash, romesco sauce.
Desserts include: Alfonso mango parfait, passion fruit, coconut tuille; Baked vanilla custard tart, gooseberry compôte; and Valrhona chocolate and olive oil mousse, Luxardo cherries.
Set Menu Lunch £12 for two courses, £15 for three. Dinner £16.50 for two courses, £19.50 for three. A la Carte also available from £5.50/£11.50
