WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?The idea for Gourmet Burger Kitchen originated in New Zealand. Innovative New Zealand cuisine over the last five years has extended to incorporate 'food on the go' such as burgers. Where once the traditional burger was seen purely as a fast food option, gourmet burgers have knocked tradition on the head. Gourmet Burger Kitchen has created a nutritious sophisticated product using the best and freshest ingredients available.

Gourmet; innovative and exotic combinations designed by internationally recognised chef Peter Gordon bring together the freshest produce prepared with care and attention to maximise flavour.
Burger; a traditional meal turned into an indulgent and nutritious experience. The finest beef, chicken, buffalo, organic wild boar, leek and pork, and other fresh produce with sauces to compliment each burger and surpass expectation.
Kitchen; GBK's kitchen has been designed and purpose built, incorporating state of the art equipment to transform the freshly delivered ingredients into an exceptional burger offering.

The Gourmet Burger Kitchen menu is consulted on by leading New Zealand and London based chef Peter Gordon. His involvement has been key in creating the menu.

THE MENU
The Gourmet Burger Kitchen menu offers an extensive range of freshly prepared burgers to suit all tastes and appetites.
The menu offers classic flavour combinations such as Chicken, Camembert and Cranberry, and Beef, Avocado and Bacon. It then goes one step further with exciting new burger combinations such as Chorizo and Sweet Potato, Lamb and Minted Relish, or the vegetarian Portabella Mushroom burger.
The specially developed GBK sauces are made "in-house" everyday and help to define each burger.
Twice a year, we refresh our menu to reflect the change in seasons, ingredients and our customers' feedback. These normally take place in spring and autumn, so you should never get tired of a GBK!
THE BEST INGREDIENTS
Not just any ingredients will do, Gourmet Burger Kitchen uses only the best ingredients available to create each burger.
The oversized sourdough buns are baked each morning by our artisan baker. The Aberdeen Angus Scotch Beef, fresh English chicken and fresh vegetables are delivered each day. Gourmet Burger Kitchen uses only 100% Aberdeen Angus Scotch Beef which is sourced from fully traceable grass reared animals.
Our premium organic burgers come from the world famous in Laverstoke Park farm in Hampshire, England.
