Bristol had better watch out for Electro – pop band Legion of Many. They seem set for big things after appearing on Sky 1’s ‘Must be the Music’, a sort of X Factor for the musical underdog. In an event not to be missed, Legion of Many will be playing at The Prom Bar on Gloucester Road tonight.
The Legion were formed a year ago by Bristolian singer and producer Jeremy Goddard while he was living in New York, but the band have ditched the bright lights of the Big Apple to return to good old Bristol to try and make their name in the UK.
Influenced by bands like Daft Punk and Queen, the eight piece band aim to put on an electric and unique show, complete with extravagant glam rock inspired stage costumes and fast paced club tunes.
As well as simply performing, their mission is to unite their fans by urging them to ‘join the Legion’ to create a diverse and united movement which focuses on humanitarian connectivity as well as entertaining the audience with their lively stage shows. They have so far played WOMAD, Shambabla and Notting Hill carnival well as DJ sets with Thom Yorke at Glastonbury.
