According to the event organisers, the Wine & Food Fair that runs from 02-04 July will encourage Bristol people to learn more about wine and food through enjoyment.
There are a variety of new educational aspects to the event, now in its third year, including a Wine Education Point where visitors will be able to take part in free 15-minute wine tasting tutorials. The informal tutorials, hosted by Master Trainers Alastair Peebles (Devon Wine School) and Alun Cox (West of England Wine & Spirit Education Trust) will help people to make better informed choices when buying and tasting wine.
The Bristol Wine & Food Fair is one of the city’s most popular summer events, and is now in its third year. The event has been expended to run throughout the whole weekend, starting on Friday morning and finishing on Sunday evening.
The event is expected to see some 11,000 visitors throughout the weekend. Tickets for the event are still available, priced £8 per adult in advance, from www.bristolwineandfoodfair.com, and all children under the age of 16 go free with a paying adult.
