Families wondering what to do over the bank holiday weekend may be pleased to note that Bristol Zoo has come up with a programme of activities to entertain people of all ages.
Tomorrow (Saturday May 1st), the visitor attraction will be hosting a troupe of dancers.
Members of the Pennyroyal Garland Dancers will be performing in the afternoon, along with a band and a group of Morris Men.
Meanwhile, kids will have the chance on Monday May 3rd to catch TV favourite Postman Pat. Along with his trusty cat Jess, the character will be making a special appearance in the gardens.
As well as these events, the weekend will provide a great chance for people to see the Zoo's award-winning gardens in full bloom.
Head of marketing Heather Holve said: "We are pleased to have an exciting range of extra events on offer this bank holiday weekend."
She added that visitors are sure to have a "great day out".
Run by the Bristol, Clifton and West of England Zoological Society, the centre is located on a 12-acre site.
