Later today (April 29th), Bristol's Cabot Circus is set to stage a discount event intended for students.

Starting at 4PM, the shopping extravaganza will provide people with the chance to stock up on summer clothes.

There will be offers of between ten and 20 per cent off at a number of retailers, including French Connection, Schuh, Cult, Aldo, G Star and House of Fraser.

In all, 50 firms are participating in the promotional event.

Also, there will be DJ sets to keep consumers entertained, as well as goody bags and free food samples.

Live performances in Concorde Street are also set to liven up the atmosphere.

Costing £500 million to construct, Cabot Circus features a glass roof equal in size to one-and-a-half football pitches.

It has been a popular attraction in Bristol since it was set up and those behind the project had the vision of transforming the city into one of the best in the UK for shopping.
