Cyclists in Bristol are being encouraged to attend a roadshow to help them protect their bikes.
Today (April 23rd), Safer Bristol and Avon and Somerset police are staging the event between 14:00 and 18:30 GMT.
The gathering will take place on the Clifton Downs near the water tower and cafe.
PC Paul White remarked: "There are a lot of cyclists in the area around the Downs so we are running this event to encourage cycle road safety and bike security in the surrounding area."
He also noted that Bristol was recently voted the UK's cycling city, so safety is an important issue in the area.
Meanwhile, Cheryl Coles, the local community safety officer from Safer Bristol - which is responsible for coordinating actions that tackle the adverse effects of crime and drugs on communities - noted that there is a lot people can do to keep their bikes safe.
