Hundreds of people turned up to mourn the death of Bristol entertainer Fred Wedlock.
A funeral service held at St Mary Redcliffe Church saw the venue packed with those keen to pay tribute to his memory.
The 67-year-old, who was a folk singer best known for his hit single The Oldest Swinger In Town, died of a heart attack while being treated for pneumonia earlier this month.
So crowded was the church that attendees at the service filled the aisles.
In addition to his musical endeavours, Wedlock was also known for his appearances on TV and stage.
He presented a number of programmes for West Country TV and performed with the Bristol Old Vic.
His friend Kate McNab, said: "He was a singer, songwriter, comedian, raconteur, actor, researcher and broadcaster but most of all he was an entertainer," the Bristol Evening Post reports.
Wedlock was one of a "rare breed" capable of delivering a song, joke or story, she added.
