Description:
This year may be a good one for those who choose to invest in a buy-to-let property in Bristol, it has been claimed.
According to Jon Brown, partner relationship manager at iammoving.com, those who have put money into such residences should be optimistic about their prospects.
He stated: "Our opinion is that 2010 will be the year of the landlord and the letting agent. This is reflected in our own current statistics."
Mr Brown went on to note that the letting agents using its change of tenancy tool processed an average of 35 per cent more moves last month than they did during the same 28-day period last year.
His remarks follow the release of new research from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which showed that house prices in Britain have gone up by a typical amount of ten per cent since a low point in April 2009.
The organisation also revealed that the UK was one of only a small number of nations in Europe to see the price of its homes increase last year.
