Bristol's Colston Hall has showcased some of the city's most promising young dance talent.
During events on 08 March, more than 400 children took to the stage at the venue - which has a history stretching back nearly 150 years - the Bristol Evening Post reports.
A total of 20 schools participated in the Stages gala, with those involved ranging from infants to teenagers.
According to producer of the spectacle Shona Symons, dance teaching in Bristol is of a very high standard, which makes Stages a "very professional event".
She added that demonstrations such as this are a tribute to the skills and dedication of the pupils and staff who are involved in them.
Ms Symons went on to state: "The show illustrates the enthusiasm and skills we have in Bristol for dance and performing arts."
An annual event that inspires enthusiasm among young performers across the city, Stages is now in its 14th year.
