Description:
People who fancy getting some fresh air and exploring the Bristol area may be interested to note that the Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project is organising a family walk for later this month.
On Sunday March 28th, the organisation's Geraldine Taylor and Mandy Leivers will lead the stroll, which will cover parts of the Downs.
Those who take part will get the chance to spot the signs of spring.
The event is taking place between 14:00 and 16:00 GMT and under-fives can participate for free.
Information about the wildlife that lives on the Downs will be provided and there will an opportunity to create some seasonal artwork.
The Bristol Downs are two large green spaces of around 400 acres located on the edge of the city.
From them, there are wide views of the Avon Gorge, Leigh Woods, north Somerset and the Severn estuary and they are popular with wildlife spotters and walkers. They are also used for big public events.
