A hotel in Bristol is set to back a fundraising effort to beat childhood leukaemia.
The Hotel du Vin will provide cricketing legend Sir Ian Botham with a place to eat and rest when he heads to the city in April.
Beefy, as he is known, will walk through ten towns in ten days from April 10th until April 19th, encouraging members of the public to join him and get sponsored for doing so.
The sporting great - who has made many TV appearances since retiring from professional cricket - will be staying in Hotel du Vin and Malmaison boutique hotels across England and the firm is assisting his fundraising efforts.
It is to sell charity pin badges and provide 'Botham burgers', which will include a 50p donation to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
In addition, for each bottle of Botham Merrill Willis Limited Edition Wine ordered, £1 will go towards the charity.
As well as Bristol, Sir Ian's tour will include London, Manchester and Reading, among other places.
