A competition in which some of the country's best cyclists will pit their skills against each other is set to return to Bristol.
The Severn Bridge/Felt Road Race will take place on March 7th, getting underway at 11:00 GMT and covering a circuit starting in the Old Down and encompassing a serious of flat and hilly areas.
Organiser of the event Richard Jarrold said: "The field will be bigger than last year, with 80 riders and the there will be a motorbike escort to ensure their safety," the Bristol Evening Post reports.
According to the publication, last year's winner Marcin Bialoblocki will be back in Bristol to defend his title.
In addition, there will be many elite and first category riders from the UK's top teams.
Mr Jarrold stated that the sporting showcase will be a good chance to see talented riders and "promising youngsters".
The event is described by RoadCyclingUK as one of the most demanding early season races.
