The value of Bristol property may continue to grow in the short-term, remarks made by an expert indicate.
According to Lucian Cook, director of residential research at Savills, there may be a few more months of house price rises across the country.
He made his comments following the release of figures from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which showed that the value of residences went up last month.
The organisation found that 30 per cent more surveyors across the UK saw prices rise rather than fall in December.
However, Mr Cook issued a note of caution, saying that while property enquiries are still surpassing supply at the present time, the gap between supply and demand has diminished.
He added: "If this continues, there is set to be real volatility in house prices. That indicates that ... it will be hard to see [further increases] thereafter."
