The price of property in Bristol may well have increased in November, figures produced by the Land Registry suggest.
According to the organisation, which exists to register titles to land in England and Wales, homes sold for around 0.9 per cent more during the month than they did in October - going for an average of £161,554.
In the south-west specifically, the rise was recorded at 0.1 per cent and houses and flats in the region had a typical value of £172,011.
November was the sixth month in a row in which there was an increase and it pulled the annual price change up to -0.3 per cent.
However, in a cautionary note, the Land Registry went on to point out that transaction volumes remain relatively low.
Recently, Halifax revealed West London has the highest average property value of any area in England and Wales, with homes there typically costing around £5,401,447.
