Now could be a good time to purchase Bristol property, as an increase in prices in areas surrounding London has been observed.
James Wrightson, marketing manager at change of address service iammoving.com, explained that those who can afford the risk of moving up the property ladder should do so in the coming months.
He was commenting after Savills research, commissioned by the Sunday Times, linked rising values in the Home Counties to the upturn in London.
Bristol property may be set to benefit, after prices went up in Hampshire and Berkshire - as well as in West Sussex and Essex.
And Mr Wrightson suggested that the next six to 12 months could be a good time for homeowners to take advantage, as a recovery seems to be imminent.
"New life appears to be stirring in the surrounding Home Counties, which is ever a good sign that slowly and surely Britain as a whole will be healthy again," he said.
