Artists from the world of music and comedy are to perform at the Colston Hall in Bristol to raise money for the famous Slapstick Silent Comedy Festival.Artists appearing at the Bristol venue include The Blockheads, who performed with Ian Dury up until his death in 2000, and who will be joined on vocals by comedian and broadcaster Phill Jupitus, Actor and songwriter Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet fame who will be performing many of his hits, and finally actor Paul McGann. The unique evening of music will take to the stage on October 24.
All proceeds from the show are going to the Slapstick Silent Comedy Festival which will be held at the Watershed, Colston Hall and other Bristol venues in January 2009.
