Description:

Sometimes split between Brislington East and Brislington West due to its vast size, this major district is located in the South East of Bristol. The district can be split in two along the Bath Road and commences at the Old Tram Depot (near HTV Studios) and runs all the way up to McDonalds and St Brendan's college.

Often referred to as Brislington village a number of retail outlets can be found on Brislington Hill or Brazil as termed by the locals. Some great bars still remain such as the White Hart, the recently re-opened Black Castle and The Pilgrim despite a number being knocked down and developed into flats recently. Sundance Ladies Health & Fitness at the bottom of Brislington Hill is a welcoming gym which also offers tanning and beauty therapy services for the girls whilst further up can be found Menzone for the boys.

There are a number of educational establishments in the area such as the very popular St Brendan's 6th Form College and Brislington Enterprise College set over 60 acres. Some major housing developments are currently in progress on the old Imperial site increasing once again the population of this district.
