Description:
The thinking students' guide to BristolNo matter which way you slice it, Bristol is a great city for students. It regularly tops polls as one of the favourite cities outside London for people to study in, and it makes such an impact on the people who come here to study that a fair percentage of them decide to live in Bristol once their time as students has come to an end. University of Bristol and University of the West of England are the main institutions that bring students to the city, but there are many other centres of learning in Bristol, and the student population is very diverse.
Whilst the city has a vibrant and unique life of its own, there is no doubt during term time the students bring the streets of Bristol to life in a way that the native population find hard to do without a bit of help. And if that means that there's less room on the pavements for a few months each year, that's a small price to pay!
