Bristol City Council makes the provision of sports and leisure opportunities a priority, and aim to provide facilities that are accessible and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. BCC's three stand alone pools, three leisure centres and two sports centres are owned by the Authority and managed by a professional leisure management company called Sports and Leisure Management Limited (SLM) under a 10 year partnership agreement with the council.
