Bristol Rugby are in their first and hopefully only season of the newly formed Championship following their relegation from the Guinness Premiership last season. An early return is expected however the powers that be have now decided that winning the league does not merit promotion so the top 8 teams will go through the rigmarole of a play off system to determine the lucky winner.
Bristol Rugby play at the Memorial Stadium in Horfield which they sold to Bristol Rovers Football Club in 1998 and now share the ground with them. Most of the home games for Bristol Rugby are being played on a Sunday and tickets cost from £15-£28 with early bird discounts of £3 for pre booking 48 hours early. The ground development has been postponed and further advices will be posted through our news portal when available.
Outside of the Championship Bristol also play in the British & Irish Cup and have been drawn in Pool B alongside Coventry, Heriots, Neath, Munster"A" and Nottingham.
