Barton Hill is an area of Bristol, just to the east of the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads railway station.

It includes residential, retail and industrial premises and is crossed by major roads, railway tracks and the feeder canal leading to Bristol Harbour.

Barton Hill is a major benefactor of £50m delivered through the governments Bristol New Deal regeneration programme which started in 2000. As part of the New Deal, new affordable housing has been built, various community initiatives launched to tackle un-employment, education, health, crime, environment & business, and plans for the regeneration of Church Road.
