Bristol Zoo Gardens is a 12 acre site in Clifton. Awarded ‘Zoo of the Year 2004' by the Good Britain Guide, Bristol Zoo Gardens has a reputation for excellence, innovation, and dedication to conservation. It's the fifth oldest zoo in the world and the oldest outside of a capital city, and a long established major tourist attraction in Bristol.
Bristol Zoo is home to over 400 species including lions, penguins, seals, monkeys, gorillas, reptiles, pelicans, birds, beetles, bats and more. With most of the exhibits under cover, you can enjoy your visit whatever the weather.
There are also regular feeding sessions so that visitors can experience animal encounters and feeding times.
