Description:

England's second largest parish church was founded in the 13th C (although most the building dates back to the 15th C) and is viewed by many as England's finest parish church, and an excellent example of Gothic architecture. Elizabeth 1 described the church as ""The fairest, goodliest and most famous parish church in England."

 

Opening times: Summer Weekdays 8.30 - 17.00, November - Easter weekdays from 9 - 16.00, Sundays all year around 8.00  - 17.30
