The Golden Guinea in Redcliffe, Bristol is a great pub to visit with a superb sound system and a relaxed atmosphere. We are cool, hip, hidden away and completely chav free.
We boast cool decor, with reclaimed church pews, french mirrors and eclectic wall paper. We have 3 terraces, one of which is attached to the basement lounge and is partially heated and covered. Our lounge is free to hire for parties and meetings.
The pub has a relaxed and genuine pub feel when you enter through the front terrace. Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge and lower rear terrace which has an extensive cover and heating for smokers.
The selection of drinks behind the bar is quirky and offers real quality and choice. Real ales, ciders, wheat beers and lagers will be available alongside an array of quality spirits. Why not try The Golden Guinea’s signature drink ‘Blackbeard Cider’?
We serve an ever changing line up of local and exotic real ales. We try and avoid the main stream lager brands, and currently sell Zatec from Czech Republic and Grolsch Blond from Holland.
This historic pub is only a stone’s throw from Bristol’s harbour, where Blackbeard the Pirate used to drink!
