Weekend Sports results: 2 1/2 out of 3

Pretty successful weekend for Bristol's sports teams.

Bristol City came from 2-0 down at home to Championship leader Wolverhampton Wanderers to secure a draw thanks to a goal from Dele Adebola and then his unselfish pass to Nicky Maynard for one of his easiest tap ins of the season. City are now 14th in the table, 10 points off the play off spots but with a game in hand on most other teams.

Bristol Rovers saw off fellow relegation strugglers Leyton Orient with a fantastic 2-1 away victory. After going a goal behind Jeff Hughes levelled for Rovers before substitute Daryl Duffy grabbed all 3 points for the Bristol side. The win moves Rovers 7 points clear of the relegation places in 17th place.

BRISTOL RUGBY WIN!! Admittedly only against Toulon in the European Challenge Cup, but it was an away fixture and good to see them back on track, i hope! Tries came from Nathan Budgett and Lee Robinson grabbed a brace as the Bristol side went on to win 37-19. They must beat Newcastle in February to have a chance of staying up in the league though and I'm sure all focus will now be on that game.
