Charity organisers at Penny Brohn Cancer Care are calling for volunteers to come on board and lend a helping hand at this year’s Bristol Harbour Festival, which takes place between July 30 and August 1.
As the Harbour Festival’s first-ever charity partner, Penny Brohn Cancer Care is looking for a further fifty people to join its team of general volunteers and carry out money collections over the Festival weekend.
The charity is also seeking a number of trained therapists to volunteer their services and offer visitors a range of complementary treatments, including Indian head massage and reflexology, at the Penny Brohn Therapy Village, which will be located near the Amphitheatre.
To be a volunteer at this year’s Harbour Festival, call the Penny Brohn Cancer Care fundraising team on 01275 370073 or email fundraising@pennybrohn.org. To find out more about the charity and its work, visit www.pennybrohncancercare.org.
