A comfortable victory for Bristol over wouldbe promotion contenders the Cornish Pirates. Adrian Jarvis contributed 15 points with his boot by popping over 3 penalties and 3 conversions. The tries came from Redford Pennycook, Luke Arscott, Dan Norton and a penalty try awarded for several scrum collapses just short of the Pirates line. Some last minute lack of concentration did let the Pirates in for a converted try with the last move of the game from winger Rhodri McAtee but the game was well secured by then, however these mistakes cant be made against more savvy opposition.
